Stephany earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds an active Illinois license as a clinical social worker.
Stephany also has a Master of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Child and Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She has specialized training in sex offender treatment and evaluation. She holds an active Illinois license as a sex offender treatment provider.
Stephany has experience in working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Her background includes community mental health and work with justice-involved populations. She is a warm, direct, and collaborative clinician who blends evaluation‑informed care with practical, everyday tools. Clients describe her style as grounded, non‑judgmental, and clear, with a focus on helping people understand why something is happening and how to change it.
Clinical focus: trauma‑informed care, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, assessment‑driven treatment planning, and coordination with systems (e.g., courts, probation/parole) when appropriate and with client consent.
